Harley Chronicles
It's a low rumbling,
V-twin, Harley song;
Beckoning my name at
the crack of dawn.
As the V-twin pistons
roll,
Begging the question,
“For whom does our
low rumble toll?”
It’s speaks to me on
my pathos side,
Calling me out, “it’s
time to ride.”

The Eastern sky is turning light,
While the Western is
still bathed in the cool of night.
The taillights are
lit up red and the handlebars are smooth,
That Harley song’s
lyric is a simple, “it’s time to cruise.”
I zip up my Harley
Owner’s Group coat and take in a deep breath.
My heartbeat matches
the rumble, and my body is feeling at rest.
